Big Heart Rescue flew Lady and her babies down from Bella Bella (a small reserve on the North Coast) with the wonderful help of Pacific Coastal Airlines. The puppies will be placed in loving foster care homes once they are old enough. When Lady is ready she will be spayed and vaccinated prior to returning home, never to have another litter again!

These sweet (6 girls, 2 boys) puppies will be vaccinated, vet checked and de-wormed prior to adoption and a mandatory sterilization will be required.

Yes, puppies are so cute and require a tremendous amount of time and effort on your part. Puppies need to be fed three or four times a day. They need to be house trained and will probably have "accidents" in your home. Puppies may cry and keep you up at night. Puppies chew and they might just chew up your favourite chair. Puppies dig and they might just dig up your newly planted rose bush. Puppies jump up and scratch you or others with their sharp claws. Puppies nip and their sharp teeth hurt. Puppies need obedience training and they may still ignore you when you tell them "no". Puppies need you home with them, so they can learn what love means!!
