When the public finds out that the SPCA is using their money to sue AAS, there will be a backlash that it has never experienced before

Mr. Brodgesell states, “I can not believe the SPCA is going to spend great sums of money on such legal proceedings. This would be money they have received from the public, donated for nothing else but the welfare of the animals. Could such use of monies be classed as fraudulent” ??!!

Personally, I believe that when the general public is made aware of the massive amounts of donated dollars that are being used to sue AAS and individuals who posted on the message board there will be a backlash that the SPCA has never experienced before.

If this law suit does present itself in court, community members who have supported the SPCA may very well decide that their hard earned dollars are no longer being spent on improving the lives of animals within the SPCA facilities and this in turn will harm not only the pet companions in need but will clearly demonstrate that the BC SPCA is more concerned about silencing a small group of animal welfare supporters who have requested accountability and transparency, than caring for the animals throughout the Province who require financial support to ensure healthy future lives.

Also, I can’t help but to wonder how many SPCA front line employees who have been laid off would still be employed if the money that is being spent on this suit was applied to salaries?

Craig Daniell said he would not spend animals' money on suing AAS
According to the mandate of the BCSPCA Board of Directors, regardless of what Mr. Daniell says or thinks, HE is not the ultimate authority in regard to a lawsuit
