I used to live in the Okanagan, so know of a few places that may help. There is a lady named Karen Beggs in Salmon Arm who runs Kee-Two Bird rehabilitation. She is wonderful and may be able to take the quail if you are able to drive up there. Her number is 250-832-8200. Also you could try calling Sinikka Crosland of TRACS in Kelowna at 250-768-4803, or Mandy Rawson of Critteraid in Summerland at 250-768-8728.
Failing that, there is a very good bird vet named Linda Kaplan in Lake Country. She used to be at the Jade Bay Vet, but now I think she is at Tri-Lakes - 250-766-3236.
