But it doesn't lack funds. It cries that it does, over one hundred times a year to the media, all over BC. It constantly excuses its concete and steel prison cells, its lack of training, its lack of dog rehabilitation, its lack of pre-sales sterilization, and its lack of veterinery care (it lets dogs and cats die miserably of injury and disease while it uses appeals in the media to raise money specifically for them, and then sends the money to head office, and the animal is put down) by crying poor, just as Eccles did...again.

Yet it spends money to train SPCA employees how to kill excess animals. It spends money on bloated head office staff that includes a slick P.R. department. It spends a huge amount of money creating and implementing dog assessment tests that are used to cull out dogs that may cost them money to save and to "explain" why they kill so many dogs that they have because of their multi-million dollar dog control/disposal contracts.

And of course, it spends untold thousands of dollars to stop AAS from telling any of this to animal lovers.
