We checked with the SPCA's Code of Ethics and it doesn't mention hunting specifically, but it does say in Sec 4.3 Conflict of Interest: "We will not engage in any activity...that may bring the (Society) into disrepute."
Killing animals for pleasure, recreation, or sport, if done by an SPCA employee, would bring the Society into disrepute - if it were known. Maybe it is time to let the public know which high-level employee is alleged to be a duck hunter. We have this information on good authority, but thought we would save it for court. Maybe not afterall...
