Animal Advocates Watchdog

Set them free

I stopped going to zoos and circuses a long time ago since I am of the view that no animal should be incarcerated, especially wild animals.

You do that, bring two predatory species together in a small enclosure, and top that by throwing a bone in between, and presto... you have serious conflict with deadly consequences.

Even household pet dogs, at home, would take a shot at each other under these circumstances, let alone a Grizzly and a wolf.

As far as Grouse Mountain is concerned... they tried something; it did not work; now back to the drawing board.

If it was up to me, I'd take them to their natural uninhibited environment, set them free, and let nature take its course.

If they run back to you and hug you... by all means keep them and continue what you are doing. If, however they take off like the wind, then you probably have made the right decision.
