This is obviously unbelievable. As has often been said, the people who should be the last ones in the world owning these dogs, are often the ones owning these dogs. What kind of mother goes out to do errands and puts their child in the basement and tells the child not to come out because of a dog in the house? And WHY were these dogs intact?? Who in the world is allowing the breeding of these dogs? I certainly hope that the SPCA and the City of Vancouver takes a look at this and considers seriously what by-laws could be in place to avoid this happening in Vancouver. It has certainly already happened in Maple Ridge with the story of Cody.
