Dear sir:

Thanks Nanaimo. The BC SPCA Nanaimo & District Branch's Annual Rabies Clinic and Open House was held June 11 and it was a very successful day. One hundred and twenty five people brought in their cats and dogs to advantage of the super deal of $15 for their pets to receive rabies vaccinations. The garage sale and concession stand were busy as well.

A huge thank you goes out to the local veterinarians who very kindly donated their time for this SPCA event fund raiser.

And thanks to the generous sponsor as well: Merrilee Tognella of Coast Realty, Shar-Kare Feeds and Pet Supplies, Hub City Paving and Tourism Nanaimo.

Thanks, too, to all the wonderful, dedicated volunteers who worked so tirelessly as they do all year long.
