"Celebrities are usually advised by their lawyers to avoid libel suits, because in the privileged environment of the courtroom, the defendants can make allegations, which can be printed verbatim in the papers, that can be far more embarrassing than the original charge."

Does anyone think that the SPCA would be smart to put our line-up of witnesses on the stand to be examined by our law team of Jeffrey Scouten and Sandra Sutherland? Our witnesses are Past Directors, MLAs, Ministers, Councillors, ex-SPCA staff and volunteers, victims, lawyers, municipal staff, and dozens of rescuers and members of the public. Our documented evidence goes back 50 years. The SPCA's own actions keep adding to our evidence. The longer the SPCA drags this out, the more evidence it supplies us with, like the killing of 90 cats in Kamloops in May. That was very public, but there is more, current evidence, that it not yet public. But it will be, if we are forced to court.

Even if they win, they lose. Even if we lose we win
SPCA terror tactics get it nowhere
Now the SPCA is forcing us to spend thousands on court-ordered mediation
