We wonder if Mike Markarian eats meat? If he does, then he is playing a little game with the minds of animal-lovers, like almost all the big animal organizations do. Suffering = blame the bad guys = jobs and paycheques.

The "bad guys" are supplying meat for meat-eaters. If there were no meat-eaters, there would be no animals killed for meat.

It is not honest to say you are going to stop a cruelty when you are the reason for the cruelty but you are not going to stop what you do.

We will ask Mr Markarian and the CEO of the Humane Society of the U.S. if they eat meat. Wouldn't it be wonderful to find out they don't!

Wouldn't it be wonderful to find out that they don't serve meat at their functions as does the BC SPCA? Or at the old boys, rubber chicken circuit that all the big animal welfare organizations belong to in Canada where they all tell each other how wonderful they are, and circulate awards, and trade P.R. gambits like the Violence Link Program?
