Thought you would be interested in knowing that, and I hope your sitting for this one, our local SPCA called ME today to pick up a sick kitten. I don't know why they didn't do it but I am glad I showed up. If I had not I know that they would never have done anything. This poor little 8 week old kitten was covered in lice, extremely pale, and I wasn't sure of its sex at the time. When I went to check its rectum and vulva were completely buried under a very large mound of maggots. To top it off she has an upper respiratory problem.

Why are they now calling me to do their job? These are the same people that, when asked, say they have no idea who I am or how to find me. This is getting ridiculous. I feel like screaming.

By the way, the kitten is at the vet being cared for right now and a very loving a awesome friend of mine will care for her until my return.

Beats having to have the vet techs sneak the kittens to me after the SPCA brings them in to be killed.
