I am so impressed that the Royal City Humane Society will pay for a spay and neuter when I'm sure the Society can barely afford it.

The SPCA really needs to get on board and do similiar. I've been to the SPCA hospital, which is absolutely no fun to deal with (LONG waits), and their prices do not seem all that much cheaper than any usual vet clinic.

I'd personally love to see a day that the SPCA devotes every month SO that people could bring their animal down to the shelter and get the animal fixed for free....in the end this would save money, and save countless lives. Especially when it comes to cats.
