Kicking Horse Mountain Grizzly Bear Refuge has already snatched two cubs under they same pretense a couple of years ago. All it resulted in was a money earner for the company (the same owners operate Grouse Mountain Refuge in Vancouver where the cubs where displayed) and one of the bears is dead now already. Grizzlies have been successfully rehabbed by a BC Wildlife Shelter in the past and Leona Green is standing by to take in any cub that needs help. With her experience and her location close to the Alberta boarder she would be the logical candidate for any rehab effort.
