Julia recently had her 7th birthday and instead of receiving presents she asked for money that she could donate to help the GVAC Special Needs Fund featured on the Victoria Adoptables website. http://www.victoriaadoptables.com/critters_in_need.htm .

Young people like Julia are realizing they too can make a difference and help an animal in need. The donation of the money is wonderful but the fact that now all of her friends and their parents also have learned a bit more of how to make a difference and that each of us can is far more important.

Andy, the German Short-haired Pointer featured in the picture below, needs some dental work and to be neutered. Julia chose for her donation to be made to help Andy who was excited to meet Julia and thank her for her help.
