The SPCA's official "kill all feral cats immediately" policy

Before anyone thinks the SPCA is superior to the CRD pound in Victoria, we can assure you it is not.

The SPCA's official "kill all feral cats immediately" policy has disappeared from the SPCA's web page and hasn't been replaced with any policy.

The only humane policy is Trap/Neuter/Release as practiced by hundreds of thousands of cat welfare organizations all over the world, but T/N/R takes compassion, ethics, work, training, and money. The SPCA does not offer training in these, but it does train its staff in cheap, in-house animal killing.

In order to justify killing all feral cats (and it may have killed a hundred thousand of these innocent animals, jammed into gas boxes), SPCA P.R. said that T/N/R was inhumane and killing was humane. SPCA P.R. says that killing animals that aren't sellable without an investment in money and time, is humane. Creepy! Just like Orwell's Big Brother NewSpeak.
