Frank Stronach has opened his racing facilities to New Orlean's refugees

Hats off to Noah's Wish, they are greatly appreciated I am told by the folks I know in that corner of the world. I couldn't stand not doing anything and have contributed through an equine rescue group. Another interesting footnote - Frank Stronach - Belinda's Dad who owns Magna Corp. also owns a bunch of the big race tracks in the US and Canada - he has moved trainers, grooms, etc. out of race track residences and opened those facilities up for evacuees -Palm Beach was first and he paid to fly the 300 to 400 refugees the Red Cross had waiting. There is quite a quiet story here - he did something similar in Baltimore last year after seeing how poor the communities surrounding that track were. He has built an educational/technical training facility as well, for the very poor of Baltimore to have free access to.
