Some SPCA information not correct

It was nice to the SPCA supporting Noah's Wish but I'm not sure where they are getting some of their information from.

"Hundreds of trained animal rescue volunteers and veterinarians are stationed in the area to transport abandoned and injured animals to the shelter, where they are receiving 24-hour-a-day care"

I wish we would have had 'hundreds' of 'trained' animal rescue volunteers. When Gail and I left they were at 65, the MAXIMUM number of volunteers, and not all were trained. This number also included those who were in the field doing rescues - so it was even less then 65 people who were at the shelter looking after these 1000 animals day in and day out.

I just don't want anything taken away from the volunteers that are still there working 15 hour non-stop days in the blistering heat because there are so few volunteers on site.

Noah's wish needs all the help it can get. They are not the HSUS or SPCA who were 'wealthy' groups in comparison before the disaster hit - nevermind after with all the news coverage.

If you can donate your time or money please do so. All the contact information is listed on the website.
