Shame, shame, shame on the North Vancouver School District and the teachers who take grade 2 students to an exhibit like this one.

As a teacher, I am horrified this would be done. This is the same 'exhibit' where a grizzly killed a wolf. If one of the kids asked about that, as they might have seen it in the news, what would a teacher say?

I am horrified this would be done because Grouse Mountain Resort is taking money from schools and parents in the form of field trip money. If a person asks a child whether animals should be locked up, children easily respond with a 'NO WAY!' This is why 'Free Willy' was so popular!

Children can easily learn about bears without seeing them locked up.

I am definitely writing my criticism of this exhibit to the North Vancouver school district.
