I was out to dinner with friends yesterday evening. One of the people had just returned from up north and she was really enthusiastic about a lady who was going into Bella Bella and really trying to make a difference for the animals. She commented about how little help there was for animals in this community and how many problems the animals were experiencing.

I told her that this had to be Gail and that she was being sued by the BC SPCA. My friend was totally shocked and asked what on earth she being sued for. I told her that it was a defamation case.

I went home and checked Gail's website
She surely does amazing work for animals.

I am so grateful that people like Gail are around to assist isolated communities like Bella Bella. I note that she also works for Noah's Wish, which has a relationship with the SPCA.

How can it be in anybody's best interest to sue Gail? What on Earth does the BC SPCA have against her? You would think that they would be among her biggest fans.

This surely is a strange world.
