Dolphin referendum needed
Letter
Monday, October 24, 2005
One wonders where Alan Ferguson found the "facts" in his activist-baiting screed.
"Almost eight out of 10 Vancouverites want the whales to stay," Ferguson writes. Do they?
When and where did they record their preference?
Since there has been no referendum on the matter, perhaps Ferguson would like to spearhead one to support his specious claim.
But then he might rather not risk discovering through a referendum that many Vancouverites do not want their city to be party to the mercenary display of such intelligent creatures.
