Got 15 minutes? 22 ways to have fun...when you don't have lots of time

Good Housekeeping magazine, October 2005, pg 197:

Page heading - "if you are losing your leisure, look out! You may be losing your soul."

Way to have fun #21. "I go to my barnyard...."

When life gets too hectic and noisy, I retreat to what I call my barnyard, the basement of our house. Four rabbits, three guinea pgs, and several birds live down there. I love that, with them, I'm off the hook as far as interesting conversation goes. My human family would jump out the window if I sang them silly songs or spoke to them in baby talk - but the animals don't mind. As long as I toss them a handful of food before I leave, they think I'm a genius. Ann Hodgman
