C. Jimmy: Two cats abandoned by former tenants in her complex. This is a common occurrence. [ VDACS picked up another abandoned cat from the complex in July. ] Two additional cats are in the vicinity but too shy to be approached.

Patty: She is moving and needs a home for her own cat.

Amy: She has found a tiny abandoned Siamese kitten on the roadside in Armstrong. She cannot keep the kitten.

D. Chapman: He is phoning from the Upper Room Mission. He has been living in his van with 5 cats and 2 dogs. He needs temporary shelter for the animals but the SPCA cannot help. Phoned April at the SPCA who confirmed that they are not able to shelter the animals.

Unidentified Male Caller phoned Hazel asking for food. Hazel explained that we had no food to spare and that she had just bought $50 worth of food at her own expense to feed the shelter cats and that that food was almost gone.
