Re: Lawsuit Against Animal Advocates, Its Directors and President Judy Stone

I am writing to urge you to terminate this lawsuit. I cannot imagine a more shameful thing than a legal battle between charities, regardless of the reason, as it is a violation of the trust that your supporters extend to you in the management of a charity.

Both organizations do good, but very different work. There are some colorful characters at Animal Advocates but it is those personalities that make them good at what they do.

I also take exception to your recent solicitation for funds which highlights the term “Advocacy”, as it clearly seems to be an attempt to divert funds from Animal Advocates. As such, I have reduced my enclosed annual donation by an amount which I have added to my annual donation to Animal Advocates. I shall revert to my normal donation distributions in future years if the lawsuit is dropped and encourage other supporters to do the same.
