The Nelson SPCA is once again offering a dog house as a raffle prize. The message this gives to dog owners is that the SPCA thinks it is okay for dogs to be isolated in dog houses, either all day or more commonly, all day and night - in fact - for life, because that is what people who have dog houses do to dogs.
