AAS contributed $300

As part of AAS's growing Community Partnerships Campaign, we sent $300 to the Delta Humane Society last week to help pay the vet bills.

The Delta Humane Society replaced the SPCA as the animal control agency in Delta in 2005 after Delta council learned of the "Cheech" incident. The benefits to all animals in Delta have been enormous.

Animal welfare parternships are the future of real animal welfare in BC. While the SPCA is striking rescue organizations off its list of approved groups if they make any criticism of the SPCA, many groups are coming together to fill the void.
