Within the next two months representatives from Big Heart Rescue will be attending a meeting with Chief and Council

The election in Bella Bella has now taken place and there are five new councillors to be trained in business matters.

Within the next two months representatives from Big Heart Rescue will be attending a meeting with Chief and Council to discuss two by-laws that BHR has put forward.

We are requesting mandatory sterilization for any companion over the age of five months with exceptions for the aged and ill and have presented a by-law for the emotional, physical and psychological well being for all companions who reside in this community.

To stop the never ending cycle of non-stop breeding, neglect, death, starvation and abuse the larger picture must be addressed and advocacy on behalf of the voiceless must take place.
