As of today Forgotten Felines has entered an agreement with John Van Dongen to lease space on his property. This very old yellow Victorian home is a landmark in Ladner and we are proud to say that our shelter is moving to this location.

Above the horse stalls exists a 20,000 sq ft loft that will be reconfigured to house our 300 plus cats. Our moving day is Labor Day and we are hoping that some of you can help us on moving day!

From today forward we will need everyone's help in constructing the rooms to house the cats. If you can bang a nail without breaking your hand then we need you desperately, as soon as possible.

We also need any building supplies that you can spare. i.e.: plywood, 2 x 4's, windows, 2 x 6's, mesh, chainlink, paint, lino, any other kind of flooring and any other supplies.

To contact us pls email forgottenfelines@shaw.ca or call Cyndy at 604-603-2065 or Penny at 604-781-1109.

We immediately need to build outside steps with a covered porch going into the loft.

We also need to build a double front door...we can add the other stairs and decks at a later date. The inside of the house needs painting and shelving and minor repairs along with a lot of oiling for the wood walls and floors...

If you can spare any time, any material, any advise, any labor at all, please contact us.

We can't thank you all enough for your amazing support.....and a huge 'special thanks' to Judy Stone of Animal Advocates
for ALWAYS being there for any of us in rescue and another huge 'special thanks' to Kathe Jeffries from SANS (Westcoast Spay and Neuter) who had offered to clear some of her land and give us a home! Without people like Kathe, Judy, Lyn MacDonald (Friends of Cats on Saltspring Island) and many more, there would not be any rescue.......this shows how well rescuers can work together!

Address is 9230 Ladner Trunk Road, Ladner Trunk Road and Highway 99
