AAS posted the TV video of Finnegan, the dying dog who was scraped off the ice by rescuers, on YouTube

Many comments were written by YouTube viewers in response to the video. One of the commentors was Tammy Grimes, founder of Dogs Deserve Better. Tammy rescued Doogie and when arrested, refused to return him to his owners. Tammy's trial is tentatively scheduled for September 13th. Here is what Tammy wrote in her comment on the Finnegan video:

"More people have to take stands when dogs are dying on chains. When officials and lawmakers realize the people are standing up for dying dogs regardless of 'the law', they will take further steps to ensure better laws are enacted and ENFORCED.

We have to take similar stands as Ghandi and MLK, Jr. and their supporters in their fights for rights... Non-violent, yet very strong stands against animal abuse. Nothing else is paid the slightest bit of attention.' (http://www.youtube.com/user/tammyddb)
