The restaurant's answer is true. The only reason food animals suffer is because there are enough poeple paying money to eat the animal products.

The fault is always with the consumer. Without a market there is no product.

Everyone who eats animal products is more the problem than the producers and sellers.

So educate your friends and family while you try to educate a restaurant.
