I got up closer I saw that a pup was chained to a box and surrounded by mud and poop *PIC*

I have been a dog lover all my life and thought most dogs in this country were well treated so I was really shocked and upset when I saw this little guy on a chain not far from where I live. I couldn't believe my eyes at first, but when I got up closer I saw that a pup was chained to a box and surrounded by mud and poop, there wasn't even a water bowl, he was drinking out a filthy puddle that had his own poop in it. I went home and got food and water for him and a dry blanket and then I phoned the SPCA who told me that as long as I was giving him food and water then he had food and water, and the box was a shelter. They basically hung up on me when I started to argue with them. There wasn't anything for me to do but go get the pup so I did, and I'll do it again, anytime.

I had no choice. I had to move. We sold our house and moved on.
I found a terrified, matted, and filthy Lhasa Apso at the SPCA
I stole a dog because the SPCA would not help her

I too am "guilty" of improving the lives of chained dogs and will continue to help them until my dying days
