Animal Advocates Watchdog

Today another call will be made and another day will pass and another month will pass...

Every single day calls are made to the BC SPCA seeking assistance for chained backyard dogs or garage dogs and every single day they remain chained or hidden in a garage. They do not experience freedom to play, to walk about and smell the grass, to enjoy a romp on the beach or the basic pleasure of a walk with a friend.

The BC SPCA is the authority in this province who can enforce the PCA Act which is weak and desperately needs improvement.

The only way to improve the PCA Act is to have the BC SPCA lobby and lobby hard to ensure the quality of life for all the voiceless is heard.

And today another call will be made and another day will pass and another month will pass, another year will pass and a dog will remain on its chain or stuffed in a garage with no hope of assistance until the enforcers of this act ensure that governmental officials understand the desperate need to remove those who some feel have "adequate food, water and shelter" and have need for nothing more.
