Action cards

These can be pre-addressed (with labels) to candidates and they basically ask the candidate what their position is on the commercial seal hunt. We will send them out with a letter to our supporters in each riding, asking them to fill them in and send them off. Perhaps you could consider having some for staff or volunteers? Or perhaps your supporters might be interested?

Events

We are considering doing a talk again (by David Lavigne – our seal scientist) – is it possible you could encourage your supporters/volunteers to come along?

Also, if you have any local knowledge of any events coming up on animals/the environment, that we should consider attending – that would be really helpful to know.

Website

We have a new website, which will enable anyone in Canada to email their candidates about the seal hunt. This should be complete in the next few days. Perhaps your staff/volunteers might be interested in taking action that way?

Posters and flyers

We have some new posters and flyers about the seal hunt – both of which encourage people to visit the website and contact their candidates. Maybe you know of places that might be good to put these?
