Next week the Union of British Columbia Municipalities will be voting on Resolution B154 that would ban battery cages for all egg-laying hens in B.C. Wow, I think that would make B.C. the first province in Canada to show compassion towards factory-farmed animals. Please help encourage your mayor and council to approve Resolution B154. I just sent off a fax to Surrey mayor Dianne Watts.
