He was homeless and starving and covered in black flies.

I decided to bring him to the Lower Mainland in hopes of having a better chance for adoption.

He's been staying with a friend of mine this past week, but she's finding it impossible to keep him as she already has a full plate of responsibilities (including 3 other pets, and 3 children).

IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR A DOG, OR YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS INTERESTED, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Bud's Info:

-Clean, flealess, dewormed
-Has received ALL of his first round of shots (goes back in a month for boosters and neutering)
-2-3 years old
-Border Collie mix
-Excellent with children, people, other dogs (more intimidated by big dogs)
-Housebroken
-Black with a white patch on his chest, and red/brown throughout his coat

-Needs basic puppy training
-Needs alot of time, love and attention in a safe, permanent home
-Needs alot of exercise
-Has an old wound on one of his back ankles that the vet said has healed itself -- may cause him arthritic-type pain in the future, but is not bothering him right now.

This is a dog who seems to have lived outside for the majority of his short life so far. He isn't a puppy, but needs that basic training to get used to living indoors. He is an incredibly sweet dog, who has clearly been abused, as he is more submissive than aggressive, but loves everyone he comes in contact with.

Given the right owners and proper care, attention, and training, Buddy will be an amazing family pet.
