One can only hope. Rendered pets in this food mix may not upset anyone personally, except for, yes the sheer quantity but if people are going to get sick at the thought of eating pets, maybe this could be the little light that goes on inside their heads.

I think most of us were brought up as omnivores.. and then one day... the light came on. Few people are born vegetarian here in North America... but many have been made.

Rendered dogs and cats and rabbits, is an eye opening news story... sadly all the other animals don't make the news as often in death, unless they are recalled due to e-coli, listeria etc.

Between the killing and rendering of these surplus doomed pets...I think the people in the US need every bloody wake up call they can get.
