Dear Friends,

Last week our country was shocked by terrible news about the Adventist school of medicine and the Adventist hospital because they have been using poor defenceless dogs to teach medicine residents how to operate on human beings. They have been operating on dogs three times and they eliminate them because they are unable to go through another procedure. Those poor angels are born in that hospital and once they are one year old Dr Stoletny and the residents start subjecting them to surgical procedures. Our organization set up a web page to let the world know about this and now we are organizing a huge demonstration that will include a cage where some of us will simulate dogs and some other members of our org will be "doctors", we will urge the authorities of the Adventist hospital to remove this evil monster from the position he holds, to start an investigation to find out the bioethics committee authorised this which is absolutely against our Animal Welfare Act, we will also request the immediate ban to these cruel surgeries, immediate release of the dogs and the destruction of the facility where these poor animals have been suffering for decades.
We need to put on pressure so we need the support of hundreds of animal welfare organizations all over the world. We will have media full coverage, in our demonstration apart fro the representation of the animals in cages and the doctors, we will distribute pamphlets so people understand what vivisection is for animals and we will place cardboards with the names of the organizations which are standing against this cruel thing. We will place the pictures of the demonstration as well as the names of all the organizations which have decided to join us to stop this in the web page we have already launched http://www.canadianvoiceforanimals.org/sap.html.
