Re: The SPCA's list of 56 reasons it can kill for while saying it doesn't kill except to end the suffering of an animal that is 'beyond medical help'

I was completely blown away when I read the supposed 56 reasons to euthanise.I know most SPCA managers and know that none of the trivial reasons on that list would be used to justify an animal being put down. I know personally of many animals that have been adopted out that are blind ordeaf. (I own two of them myself)
EVERY effort is made to adopt out every animal in
our care. Dogs & cats are being transported all over the province to give them the best chance at a lifetime home. Our GMO Bob Busch & our head Vet.Jamie Lawson are both very kind empathetic people, and would not put up for a minute trivial reasons for euthanasia.
No doubt many people had a problem with the SPCA prior to 2002 but since then things have changed
dramatically,for the better.

I think a key word here is in the first sentence: "salaries"
What do you mean, "euthanasia"?

Imagine if we utilized the same 56 reasons and resulting consequence to deal with human ailments!!!

Mr. Busch's and Dr. Lawson's acts of kindness and empathy
Repellancy of actions have to be concealed
