Animal Advocates Watchdog

People still believe......

Found these two entries interesting. Just because you report/call the SPCA doesn't mean anything is going to happen. Food, water and shelter, right??

BEEF to the young couple who live on First Street in Courtenay. We are new to the area and are upset at the way they treat their neighbours and especially their pet. Their poor dog's life is his backyard, which is filthy. They never pooper-scoop, they never walk him or just play with him. He barks constantly from boredom which irritates their neighbours which they don't seem to care about. We heard they just brought home a new baby which really means worse news for the dog. IF you are family or friends with these people and recognize who they are, please talk to them about their dog, or give the poor dog away to a more loving home. Thanks.

TO THE PERSON WHO IS COMPLAINING about the people who live on First St. in Courtenay who are obviously abusing a defenseless animal (Friday, April 10). Shame on you for not reporting them to the SPCA for animal abuse, I am appalled that any one in the area can continue to allow this poor dog to suffer, I appeal to the SPCA to take action right away and to the people whose dog it is, they have obviously no feeling. I hope to God that you do not treat your new baby in the same way.
