I know someone who used to work at the Greater Vancouver Zoo. The stories that he told me of his time spent there were shocking. It would seem that widespread animal abuse, lack of knowledge of proper care for exotic animals, are just some of the problems that exist there. This place should be closed down, and animal cruelty charges need to be explored against the owners and workers.
