Let Terry Fox runners know about painful research on animals

Sunday September 19th sees the annual Terry Fox Run in Vancouver, at Second Beach in Stanley Park.
While Terry is a hero to all of us, we don't believe he ever intended the money he raised should be directed toward painful
cancer research on animals. He just wanted to find a cure, and so do we: spending billions of dollars curing cancer in rats
and mice is not the way to go about it. There are SO many modern methods of investigation, and we want to ask the public
to ask that their generous donation is only directed toward those, where the real hope lies.

Please join John and Rita at Second Beach at 10 a.m. or a bit later if you sleep in or are watching Coronation Street......
they will be leafleting the returning runners and would so appreciate your support......

ps: John can be reached at 778-230-2907

Best wishes,
Anne
