CHILLIWACK - Thousands of visitors are getting lost in a Chilliwack cornfield -- intentionally.

John and Diane Bruinsma, along with Lloyd and Wendy Taekema, have grown their 5.4-hectare corn maze -- called Chilliwack's Original Corn Maze -- for the past seven years.

In the first year, the maze drew about 19,000 people. Since then, it's drawn at least 12,000 people a year.

"It's getting to be a tradition for some of our visitors," John Bruinsma said. "People come out every year to see the farm. . . . It's a wholesome family-oriented operation and you get to learn about agriculture while you're here."

Over the years, the two families have added a petting zoo, hay wagon rides and cow-roping activities.
