Thank you to all who posted Lewis on their sites (GSD Rescue, DHS, AAS and Small Animal Rescue) as well as everyone who sent Lewis' information out to others.
I am so happy to say he has found the perfect home and we took him there Sunday! We have sent a few e-mails back and forth and Lewis is doing so well, this family is his family now!
I am so glad to have been able to help him find his way to a new and better home but know how lucky we are to have found such great people and so soon.
I wish all the people on this board the same good fortune with their foster animals, and to those in the shelters and with rescues as well.
I feel especially grateful right now and want to pass on my thanks to all who are involved in any way with re-homing these wonderful beasts. This is a great network and I see time and time again what can be accomplished when we all work to spread the word and help each other out. I am so glad to be able to help in the often seemingly small ways that I can and hope everyone knows how much they are appreciated by the animals they help.
Lewis sure let me know as we waved goodbye, I saw in his eyes that he knew he was finally home.
