On August 18th the BC SPCA partnered with Nintendo of Canada to host an exclusive media preview of Nintendogs - the much-anticipated simulation video game for the Nintendo DS system. Participants can pet, bathe and teach virtual puppies obedience and new tricks using the innovative touch screen and personalized voice commands.

Nintendogs is a great alternative for those who don't have time to care for a dog, have allergies, or just aren't ready for the responsibility of a live pet.

Nintendogs goes on sale nation-wide on August 24th, and for every game sold at any Zellers location between August 24th and September 12th Nintendo and Zellers will each donate $1 to the SPCA!
