The Subject of Reserves

The subject of Reserves is rarely talked about and the BC SPCA seems to be able to continue to ignore the endless suffering and problems.

The suggestion of a mobile spay/neuter van was brought up and while Petcetera was kind enough to donate transport vans, a little bit of financial input by the BC SPCA could have made a van into a portable spay/neuter clinic.

The Victoria SPCA has been mortgaged to pay for a spay/neuter clinic in Prince George but that helps only a small percentage of the animals in need.

Again, the BC SPCA ignores the problem on the Reserves, takes the easy way out, and pretends to do something to help the over-population problem.

The transport vans are saving lives, BUT and this is a huge BUT, they actually only are moving sellable product from one area to another.
Sort of like the Bay moving thin blouses from Prince George when they realize people are buying sweaters. Unfortunately dogs and cats continue to produce stock to be sold and transported while blouses once sold are gone.
Without spay and neuter the product is endless as is the suffering.

That the BC SPCA continues to ingnore the suffering on Reserves is unforgivable.
