Japan Dolphin Day - the action starts this Friday

Hi Everyone,

Did you know that much of the population of Japan itself doesn't even know about the dolphin killings that take place in Taiji and Futo??

The Japan Dolphin Day demonstration is this week-end at the Japanese Consulate, 1177 West Hastings in Vancouver.

Since Japan Dolphin Day (Oct. 8) lands on a Saturday this year, we are starting on Friday afternoon so we can actually talk to the Japanese Consulate.

The action starts at 2pm on Friday. A candlelight vigil/memorial
for the dolphins who have been killed will take place Friday evening
and night (for those who want to stay overnight). More activities
are planned starting at 12:00noon Saturday. THIS WILL BE A PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION.
