2 Bits
Dog
Akita Mix

Size: Large
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
I.D:

Notes: 2 Bits has lead a sorted life. He has mostly been left to fend for himself, and wandered from home to home looking for his next meal. He looks older than he really is, probably because he hasn't been taken care of properly, we think he is about 5 years old. 2 Bits has fathered many litters that we have taken in, and we are excited to say that he will father no more as he will be neutered soon! He is not really used to being kept in a confined area, so he hates to be in his kennel, even that large dog pen outside with other dogs is not acceptable for him! His ideal home would be an acreage with lots of room for him to explore, and he would love another dog to keep him company. He is very affectionate and loves to get cuddles. I have met hundreds of homeless dogs while with the SPCA, and 2 Bits is probably the most deserving of a loving home than any other dog I've met! Please contact the shelter for more inforamtion on this special guy!

Dogs are time consuming, not space consuming - they want our companionship, not our property
The SPCA culture of "sales" rather than "welfare" is still in place
I am thankful for the people who provide for their animal family members the environment and physical and emotional care
