BC SPCA to open a low cost Spay Neuter Clinic in Prince George

The BC SPCA Prince George Spay Neuter Clinic
In the Fall of 2005, the BC SPCA will be opening a low cost Spay Neuter Clinic in Prince George. With the support of the community, the Clinic will dramatically reduce the surplus pet population in Prince George and surrounding communities and put an end to the needless and tragic suffering of animals due to irresponsible breeding.

Once fully operational, the Clinic has the capacity to carry out 4,000 spay/neuter operations each year, or the equivalent of 16 to 20 surgeries each day.

Located at 1909 Queensway Street in the Fort George area of Prince George, the Clinic is 1,550 square feet and is staffed with one full time veterinarian, two animal health technicians, a receptionist and a part-time student.

With the support of the community, the Clinic will sterilize as many animals as possible from the Prince George Shelter prior to adoption. It will also provide low cost spay neuter and vaccination services to the public and surrounding First Nations Communities.

Help us spay and neuter 2,000 homeless animals in Prince George each year *LINK*

The Culture of Dishonesty - is it starting to change?
The SPCA has said for years that there is no way to keep track of statistics regarding animals deaths, euthanasia rates etc
This raises huge credibility questions about the BCSPCA
