Hi AAS – just thought I’d pass along a photo of our three dogs taken at our cabin this summer. Salem, one of Annie’s pups (Annie's Happy Ending at http://www.animaladvocates.com/happy-endings/annie.htm), just turned 6 last week and Dante (the dobie I adopted from you last year) just turned 2 this week – so we celebrated their birthdays and I thought you’d like to see a “happy dog picture”. This was taken after much chasing of deer – so they’re rather tired! Casey (retriever-mix from Okanagan Animal Welfare Foundation) will be 10 in January. Salem and her sister, Keesha (another of Annie’s pups), still spend time together every couple of months – Keesha was adopted by a friend of mine and is a much loved member of her family, too. Dante continues to be a major challenge – but he is without question the most entertaining dog I’ve ever met and is really the epitome of “dog” as they were meant to be without human interference! Salem can’t stand him because he’s so obnoxious – her life work is trying to keep him in line, which can be exhausting and noisy! Casey’s role is to be the regal leader – but she secretly like to “play like a boy” with Dante and can be quite the goon when she’s having fun!

Anyway – thanks for your role in our little assembled family. All are well, healthy and happy.
