Sarah's story: Helping to raise rescued kittens *PIC*

I raise orphan kittens, and got a litter of five. They were sick and I was feeding them round the clock. After four days, I was exhausted and didn’t know how I was going to carry on. Then I noticed Sarah sitting on the couch, and she had a “cleavage” I checked, and lo and behold, she was producing milk even though she is spayed. I gave her the five kittens and couldn’t believe the collective purr I heard as they latched onto Sarah. She lay there looking quite content, and when the kittens were finished, she licked them from head to toe. I truly believe that Sarah did this to help me. She did the night-time feedings and I was able to sleep. I did the daytime feedings, but always with Sarah watching me to make sure no harm came to her kittens. My friends are used to me showing up at their houses with a box full of kittens to bottle feed, but when I showed up with Sarah and the kittens, well let’s just say it was the best party entertainment we had had for a while.
