THE SPCA Itself Says Adoptability is the Prime Consideration for Approval of Funds

From the BC SPCA's own document, "BC SPCA Biscuit Fund - Application Procedures for Branches": "The medical and rehabilitation costs to be incurred must be reasonable, taking into account the adoptability of the animal...".

You've hit the nail right on the head Gail. And anyone who thinks it is morally okay to help only those animals who are the most sellable will have to answer to dogs like Bojangles in their next life. The SPCA let Bojangles suffer the terrible pain of broken bones for days. He died at the SPCA of his injuries, specifically when his bladder ruptured, while waiting for Biscuit Fund approval that never came.

Hmmm, makes you wonder what they were doing with all the money you sent them before...
I consider this to be CRUELTY TO ANIMALS in its worst form, because such treatment is intentional by "Professionals"
